Interview

With an Adelaide Uni interview to attend, the first half of my presence at the AZN trip had to be sacrificed. I guess it's still a trip to South Adelaide. Heaps cool.

So not long after I arrived there, I was in a room with 2 menopausal age dudes. Before the interview officially commenced, they were very warm people. After it started, their face just turned serious as if I'm a total stranger.

Then they asked the most retarded question:

Dudes: "What would you do if a patient had two diagnoses, one was a very serious condition and one was a minor condition. However, giving medication for the minor condition, the serious condition would cause death, while giving the medication for the serious condition, the minor condition would cause a life long illness"

Me: "Errr, give medication for the serious condition? At least he won't die"

Dudes: "Ok, now he has a life long illness, how would you explain your decision to him and his family"

Me: (yea, like I never saw that coming) "Well I'll just tell them that he didn't die after all, did he?"

Dudes: "If you had another chance, what would yo have done?"

Me: "Refer him to another doctor"

I know I just owned myself in that interview, but mehhhh, AZN trip here i come!

The End [with a new beginning]

Grammar is over. Thanks for the support along the way, looking back at the past one and a half years of entries really brings up memories, especially with the AZN crew who have been such a great group of friends.

Good luck to everyone!

To Liana

Been procrastinating blogging for eternity, but there's someone that really means a lot to me that i need to acknowlege

After hermitising for over a year, I went into Garnett to look for someone in year 12. Having no idea, I walked into the year 10 wing and waited there. 5 minutes later a girl walked up to me "are you looking for someone? err... the year 12 wing is over across the courtyard". That was the first time i met Liana.

Over time she became the coolest person i know with the gayest calls. "You're gay" being the most overused one.

Despite going out with someone, Liana never ditched <3

You wanted to take photo soooo bad...

Can't forget those Saturday nights with you and Timmy, nor that Saturday night you spent whole night thinking whether or not to call Timmy ;P

The "arum's dad is in the middle" photo

There were two pivotal moments in my school life that you appeared.

The first one was when I walked out of the Oral Commentary exam room. I was bursting with delight after that exam and I was ready to share that feeling.

The second one was at graduation. I was an orphan, and I never thought anyone would bother to take my photo. Yet Liana did.

Yay I graduated, and someone cared

I'm sorry about your probation period, but here's your christmas present, have a think about it: Friends can be used, but it depends how much you use them for to see whether they are worth using. A friend of mine once bought airtickets to go on holiday with his gf. He bought the tickets thru his friend (a travel agent). They weren't able to make it on the day, and asked for a refund. His travel agent friend said there's no refund. His gf, who isn't dumb, rang the company to check everything out. The transaction never even existed in the company's record. His friend used him for HK$9000. So a probation is a rather cheap price to pay for to see someone's loyalty.

Don't worry, you are of no worth to me to be used. lol!!!

But dam, Krispy Kreme and Max Benners is so worth the probation.

Anyway, Merry Christmas, I hope you have a fun and happy one. Whatever happens, remember there's always someone who cares, love you forever <3
