I wonder I wonder, who could this be?
That has hacked into your blog so skillfully ^^
One who has endured your moments with Downs,
Your lame excuses, and your silly frowns.
Your obsession with dota, as if it's your life,
Your vexatious attempts to make me a housewife.
Your narcissism, your utter cruelty =(
The way in which you copy me!
See how much I have endured for thee?
Yet somehow, perplexingly,
I still love thee for thy entirety.
我爱你.

Term 1
After an awesome nonconstructive holiday in Hongkong, I was back in adelaide ready for O'week as a fresher... since I went to a new college. And the theme was HMAS lincoln, and so i ended up as a "fresh seamen". Get it? =P
So I met up with the adelaide people to enjoy the last part of the holiday
Can you feel the love?
My gang. And me.
Worst. Haircuts. Ever.
And that's what happens to my shoe if left with Richard. And the whole time I was smashing the ANZ sign, without realizing there is a security camera spying on me.
You see, I came back to find out that my gangster portege, Liz, has fallen to the dark side and took up photography... and she has been capturing artistic moments and non-artistic moments alike. In other words, she's a paparazzi.
"le receipt"
"distance"
And then one fine night we decided it was an art to watch a starlight cinema.
And that involved a mass of around 200 bums just lying on the floor watching a poorly-lit canvas.
And this is Mike trying to pretend he understands the film. I reckon the film was as hard to understand as Shakespeare's custom-made english.
And so I watched the cricket on Mike's phone instead =P
Then there was Medcamp, where we all crashed the second night.
This random photo of random douches was taken before we set off on the trip. If you reckon it's bad enough of a photo, that's probably the reason I'm not posting the photos of the "afterparty".
And what's a good end to holidays besides beer and a good game of 'Remiere
Not long later, Dion decided to have a birthday party at his place... and he somehow got sponsored by Redbull... which was pretty cool despite the fact that Redbull doesn't get you drunk.
This is the birthday boy himself, with a candy necklace ready to be bitten off by all of us.
What's a good party without some guy love.
Omkar demonstrates good use of a rope in an artistic manner.
Maybe everyone's just jealous of the hug.
Later on in the term there was Pres Keg, but I woke up late for it. By the time I rocked up, everyone was soaking with beer/sweat/fluids/body secretions. I was immediately attacked by this drunk guy that was soaked with sweat. Great start to the night for me = ="
What a crap angle. Ash trying to kiss the guy I'm riding.
And soon it was the end of term, so a group of us went for an impulse karaoke.
And we went to get "cheap" dinner later. Tim told us about a steamboat place which costs "around 10 bucks". Ended up being 20something each, but we clear the shop of its lamb stores.
It has been ages since I last went down to Melbourne, so I went to meet up with phetphet Adam, who now lives in an apartment with beembeem Tish.
But we ended up dota-ing all the time. In this photo, Adam is attempting to get me off the computer, without much success.
Alcohol for the win.
Guitar hero for the win.
Drunken nazi houngers for the win.
Card game for the lose. Throwing sock from 10th floor or something for the win.
Retrieving socks for the lose. And an interesting random story too. When I went to the place I suspected my socks were, I found a cat inside the fence sitting with my ball of socks, and outside the fence were 2 i-want-to-retrieve-this-cat gypsies. Now usually I would not bother with gypsies since I have much better things to do, but this is situation where I'm slightly drunk, I decided to jump in the fence and try catch the cat. After spending 30 min and failing, the cat ran off. And I had my socks back. How random.
A lot of adelaide people were in Melbourne for the holidays.
And a lot of adelaide people went to max brenners
And we went to Strike. Now this is what happens when two loser kids try to prove the other is a loser.
And I think I lost the loser game.
Dion loves pool. Especially when the opponent is concentrated and unsuspecting.
Curious about the black hole.
And Ash is holding a record of me. I swear I'm black.

celebrations
It was freezing at like 10 degrees last week yet I had only one jumper to wear... Why?
All thanks to xmas + NYE being the biggest present shopping spree, making me the poorest man living in the poorest district in Hong Kong
So on xmas eve I was still shopping in a local plaza for pressies... but guess who i saw?
The leading actress from my favourite TV drama... all the way from Taiwan! w00t! Well I should be one of those dudes in the far back... which you can't see! =P
So anyway on xmas met up with kuboy connie tracy and as usual, played Wii =)
Yea we looked like absolute retards... but it was fun! We watched both Jackasses, and played lots and lots of Wii. My favourite arcade game - Ghost Squad - is now on Wii!! w0000t!!
And also DDR!!
Then came new years eve, which I promised to spend with my aunt's students. I was to pretend that I can only speak English... and dam I was a good actor MUHAHAHA =D They found out only after dinner when my aunt broke the news to them
Played cards, PSP, chatted, pool, uno... and watched some random movies at night =D
And look!! My long lost brother!! Or so they say =P
MUHAHA and that's how I spent the night... (I slept with him all the way from 2007 til 2008!!)
Oh and of coz have to mention this mysterious phone call that asked me to pick up a parcel... very suspicious. They rang my sister up and asked her for our address... so I was like parcel > safety anyday!! haha!! And I picked up this mysterious box...
Yea love hearts on a present usually mean it's not something bad =D
Awwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!! It's a SEEEAAALL!! From goldfish shahshah and phetty adam!!
My mum and sister tried to kidnap it... that's how popular it is!!
Another good news, my sister is finally heading for Geelong Grammar!! So today despite I didn't make it to the airport on time, here's a random pic of me arriving at the airport after she went inside customs

Hope everyone had an awesome xmas/nye/holidays, and good luck to all those ex-year 12 waiting for uni offers!!

Optimism
Rarely do I have the motivation to blog immediately after an event, but a TV show tonight did it.
Featuring a girl with ovarian cancer with her uterus removed, she lives life to the fullest and is very hopeful. She's even the theme girl on the recent Disney advertisement =D
This line of hers really caught my attention:
"Everyone is made equal. If you are lacking in one aspect of life, just make up for it in other areas."
People like this really deserves a second chance at life.

Company Trade Fair
Annually, there's a Company Programme Trade Fair held for secondary students. Stalls being manned mainly by business students, the many creative products targeting young consumers always make perfect Christmas presents. The best part is the way the student "hard sell" their products. It's outright aggressive, and sometimes funny too.
This year Kai-G was helping his stall out, so i decided to go there and check it out. I bought a T-shirt from his store, which i thought was quite cute. And has a positive message =D
I went around and found all these cute things like little stuffed dumpling toys and cushion hand warmers. Then at around 4:30pm when everyone reduced their prices to cost-price, I decided to go for this burger.
It was so irresistible. The cushion buns, blanket lettuce, face towel cheese, backrest meat, and mat egg and tomato. The stall was even decorated like a fast food stall, so you can choose from different menus and see what burger combinations you like. The idea itself was worth the money =D
Then I found this stuffed toy giraffe which I have been looking for ages. I swear, stuffed toy giraffes everywhere have short necks. This one does too, but with an interesting variation.
Hand-made, with creativity.
There you go arum. Cute aren't they?

After exams
It's been a great year in Adelaide, much better than originally thought it would be. Pulled through year 1 with the optimism I've learnt from these a-town people.
As celebration, on the night of our last exam, Dan's end-of-year party was awesome. Nice to see everyone after they hermitised for swot vac and exams.
The first time I've tried skulling Pappa Ash. Nah it just didn't work, he was too black. He skulled all three cups in like 2 seconds.
Thanks to Shaad we were able to have massive paintball party. The only photo I have on facebook is one that looks rather gay... or at least I look rather gay. But no one can help it when they see honey babe pham.
November and December has always been my most dreaded two months of the year, thanks to the overload of birthdays in this period. I got this theory that's its because nine months earlier is Valentine's Day. My credit card bill
Back to the point, Happy Birthday to all those Valentine babies out there. I was unfortunate in missing out Jolvin's and Qian's birthday in Adelaide, since i promised Arum a few months back to attend her birthday. But look at those gorgeous looking birthday boy and girl!
Arum x Myra's birthday dinner was pretty awesome, with so many GGS people there. Again haven't got a lot of photos to show, but here's one of one of the birthday girls.
Another great happening is that Adam and Tish finally got their new house! Great place and nice location. I can feel 2008 is gonna be an even greater year =D

mid-sem: week two
After chilling at Adam's for three days, DotA on GG Client was slowly taking over our lives. Our "work day" on Wednesday turned out to be a sleep-in til 12, followed by 6 hours of DotA, some dinner, and then more DotA.
AA Ball
On Thursday I headed off to the city with my freshly dry-cleaned suit, bought a shirt and went to Arum's. As with all girls, she spend the afternoon at a salon beautifying her hair, then 2 hours in her room doing her makeup. I rocked up 30 min before our expected leaving time, spent 15min getting ready. Then she turns around and complains why I'm so vain.
Shyra taking a photo of us "before we get all messed up"
My Melbourne DJ Francis, maid Arum, and me drinking on an empty stomach (bad idea)
Sorr porr Amanda, now working at a cafe!
The interior design of the place was dam nice, in a dark setting with projectors shining down lights for each individual table. I guess the $110 did meant something. Apparently the power was out for some time? But I can't remember anything past entree anyway =P
Waking up the next morning to Arum's facebooking at like 7am or something wasn't that great, finding out I need to dry clean my suit again for the second time in 2 weeks didn't help either.
GGS formal
Every year our school's formal is held in 3rd term holidays. Last year ours weren't so great, but this year's formal was held at the Rialto and that is class.
After taking some sticker photos with Lleufer Tesh and Adam, I headed back to Arum's to see how Rachel's makeup was going. And she looks beeaaootiful!!
Ian was Rach's date, and he has just come from cutting up garlic or onions at Go's, who was cooking up Go's Special for Tarn that night. Ian then proceeded to take Rach on a dinner date at some restaurant I can't remember the name for. Oh btw, happy 18th Ian!
While the year 12s are having their fun, Adam and I went to N2C for some DotA action.
And then later that night, clubbing@seven! Took us like half an hour in the queue, but at least got in. Too bad Ian didn't get the chance to flash out his ID.
Adam's House Party
While DotA-ing, Adam suddenly decided he wants to throw a party, so he goes on facebook and tells everyone about it. And so there was Adam's House Party. I was glad I have been staying at Adam's place (actually it's Llleufer's but meh) for the holiday, which meant if I do get drunk, I'm at home.
The house is in Heatherton, a quiet neightborhood near the Monash vicinity. A 2-man occupied house with 4 bedrooms, 3 toilets, 2 living rooms and a backyard, it's the perfect place for party woohoo!
Why these girls are posing... I have no idea. However Joel in kitchen means he's hungry.
It's master jubbin! Grats to India winning Twenty20.
Great night, though I haven't been able to consume alcohol ever since AA Ball. According to some fellow dental friends my liver may be failing. Excessive alcohol consumption also leads to Hep B, apparently. But meh, live for the present!!
Adam Jubbin and I then proceeded to DotA with Tin and MT until "Hey! The sun's rising!"
